Message from Dean
Warmly welcome to The Faculty of Agriculture and Food Processing!
It was a great pleasure that I welcome students to the faculty of Agriculture and food processing, of the University of Battambang (UBB).
To gather with other five faculties, the faculty of agriculture and food processing has strongly committed to providing high quality education to students not only in Battambang province, but also in the whole country.
Continuous learning is required in upholding one’s sustainable competitive advantage. I strongly encourage all students to complete this as a strategic to move up their careers.
General Information
The mission of this faculty is to offer quality education in science and technology in agriculture and foods and agricultural products from the time they leave the farm, field or waters to the time they reach the consumer that will prepare students to serve clientele needs and the demands of the nation, to be well-trained in their areas of interest. Its research mission is to conduct basic and applied research on soil, plants, animals, fish, and methods for enhancing value of foods and agricultural products through the application of cost-efficient and environmentally-sound post-harvest techniques in order to provide support for the community, agricultural industries, agencies, and others relying on information in Cambodia.
Vision
Faculty of Agriculture and Food Processing is a part to train, research and sciences development in agriculture sector in Cambodia.
Mission
Our Mission is to:
- Educate and train to all students' level for high quality on technology and sciences, supporting to national requirement in Cambodia, especially in north-western part;
- Research study, development and extent new technology and sciences, ideas for problem solving and science in Cambodia; and
- Attend to social development by collaboration with based associations, organizations, international and local NGO government also with national and international universities, by using participatory innovation development (PID) and Participatory Technology Development (PTD).
The Faculty is composed of four departments and two divisions:

• Department of Veterinary Medicines
• Department of Food Processing.
